About Us
Welcome!
We are the Thordarson's! What started off as a small hobby farm with a few chickens and miniature horses, we soon grew to be what we are today. We started off wanting to provide our three boys with a fun learning experience, and when we saw the joy that our animals brought to them, we decided that we wanted to share that same joy with others. We started providing farm tours May 2021 and then became an animal sanctuary, where we take animals in that are in need of a home and work with them, sometimes they stay and sometimes we find them a good home elsewhere. It is our dream to one day expand into so much more, to offer more learning experiences, save more animals, and to provide mental health support/counselling through therapy and animal therapy!

Our animals are all friendly and sociable animals. They will approach you to say hi and love getting attention! Our emus enjoy pets, ours horses come in for hugs, and our donkeys love pats and kisses on their nose! Our donkeys will take you on a memorable ride when you visit them in the pasture, and show their love and affection for you by rubbing up against you as they walk by. You will leave our farm with unforgettable memories and laughs!
